Birth Weights of ZZ Liver Affected Alphas Below is a table of birth weights. They are a collection of responses taken from parents of ZZ infants as well as from diagnosed ZZ adult alphas. The average birth weight is between 6.5 and 7 pounds. Whether any of the responses below have any significance to the diagnosis of alpha-1 remains unknown. (1)
