9/7/2006 Hi, I am one of 5 siblings with Alpha All of us ZZ's . I am the only surviving one. I have been on Zemaira for 1 yr now. I didn't have any lung infections or even a common cold this past year, just sinus problems. Even so I am much more SOB than before....I have sleep problems...not insomnia but wake up too often . Plus choking at night. More frequent asthma attacks. I have Fibromyalgia , so this may be part of the exhaustion.. who knows. I do know that I am blessed to still be here. My sister and brothers passed away between the ages of 35-55. I am 53 and can still enjoy my family .Husband , 2 daughters, 3 stepdaughters, 2 natural grandkids and 8 step grandkids. Two of my siblings never lived to see the 1st grandkids. So needless to say, I am a very busy Auntie to them all. They were Great Aunt and Uncles to mine. I miss them! Our parents both had Alpha too. My doctor said it was rare to hear of 5 siblings all being ZZ, but both parents too? Well anyway, Bless all of you! Cathy |
